A beautiful handmade patchwork quilt, rich in colour and thoughtfully made to be used, loved and treasured.

Featuring a striking combination of jewel-toned fabrics, this lovely quilt brings together vibrant shades of turquoise, teal, sapphire blue, violet and deep purple. The rich colours and intricate prints create a wonderful sense of depth and movement, giving the quilt a bold yet elegant appeal.

The carefully arranged patchwork blocks form an eye-catching geometric design, with contrasting triangles, squares and angled pieces creating an intriguing interwoven pattern. The beautiful paisley-inspired border frames the design, bringing together all the colours of the quilt, while a narrow deep blue inner border provides a lovely finishing touch.

The all-over quilting features flowing, swirling patterns, adding beautiful texture and movement while complementing the geometric design. The contrasting deep teal backing features a subtle tonal pattern, giving the quilt a completely different look when turned over.

Made using traditional patchwork techniques, the fabrics have been carefully selected, with each block individually cut and pieced on a domestic sewing machine. The quilt has been professionally machine quilted for durability, making it practical for everyday use while still being something special to keep.

Made from natural cotton fabrics and wadding, this generously sized quilt is soft, comfortable and perfect for snuggling under, draping over a sofa or adding a beautiful splash of colour to a room.

This quilt was originally made by Karen as a demonstration quilt for Rainbow Patchwork. A lovely opportunity to own a unique, handmade quilt.
