Classes

Karen is an experienced patchwork teacher with over 30 years of sharing her love of sewing and quilting. Currently, Rainbow Patchwork is offering two regular classes: Social Patchwork Morning and Learn & Create with Karen.

If you have a project in mind, and a few friends who also want to work on it, please let us know and we can organise class times that suit everyone.

Sew Together Bag Class – Starts 20th February

Take part in Karen's three-session workshop to create the Sew Together Bag by Sew Demented.

    Once booked in for the class I'll send you the list of requirements.

  • Please note:

    Class fees are non refundable if you cancel less than 7 days before the course starts, if you fail to turn up for the class or if you miss a session.
    The class will only proceed if minimum numbers enrol.

  • Cost

    $100

    Includes the pattern ($20) and $20 of supplies from Rainbow Patchwork (you choose what you want).

    If you have the pattern already the cost is $80.

Tote Bag Class - Classes in March 2026

Create this versatile tote bag in one session. Great for all sewers including beginners.

    One tote bag kit from Rainbow Patchwork.
    Sewing machines are available for hire.

    The evening class will start with a savoury platter, so if you don't get time for much dinner we've got you covered (GF catered for). The morning class will break for morning tea mid-morning.

Sit & Sew - A Social Patchwork Morning

Love to sew? Come along for a relaxed morning of stitching, chatting, and sharing ideas with friends.

What's Included: A friendly space to work on your own projects (iron and cutting mats provided), connect with others, and enjoy a cuppa and morning tea. Please note: This is a social sewing day, not a class.
