A beautiful handmade patchwork quilt, bursting with colour and personality, thoughtfully made to be used, loved and treasured.

Featuring the striking Kaffe Fassett Circles fabric, this vibrant quilt brings together a wonderful combination of rich jewel tones, including turquoise, teal, sapphire blue, raspberry pink, purple and golden yellow. The bold, colourful concentric circles create a lively sense of movement, making this quilt a real statement piece.

The patchwork design features an assortment of squares within squares, each individually pieced using carefully selected coordinating fabrics. These colourful geometric blocks appear to float across the swirling circles background, creating a playful contrast between the strong straight lines of the patchwork and the flowing curves of the fabric design.

A narrow turquoise striped border frames the central patchwork, while the generous outer border showcases the beautiful Kaffe Fassett Circles print. Coordinating striped binding completes the quilt.

The all-over quilting features graceful swirling patterns, adding wonderful texture and movement while complementing the circular design. The contrasting backing features a stunning large-scale floral print, with colourful flowers and foliage against a dark background. This dramatic fabric gives the quilt a completely different look when turned over.

Made using traditional patchwork techniques, the fabrics have been carefully selected, with each block individually cut and pieced on a domestic sewing machine. The quilt has been professionally machine quilted for durability, making it practical for everyday use while still being something special to keep.

Made from natural cotton fabrics and wadding, this generously sized quilt is soft, comfortable and ideal for a single bed. Perfect for adding a bold splash of colour to a bedroom or snuggling under on a cool evening.

This quilt was originally made by Karen as a demonstration quilt for Rainbow Patchwork. A lovely opportunity to own a unique, handmade quilt.
