A beautiful handmade patchwork quilt, bursting with colour, fun and delightful little surprises. Thoughtfully made to be played with, snuggled under, loved and treasured.

This wonderfully playful I Spy quilt features a colourful collection of animals, birds, insects and other fascinating picture prints, with something new to discover every time you look. From elephants, tigers and frogs to butterflies, penguins, fish and woodland creatures, there is plenty to keep curious young minds entertained.

The quilt brings together a cheerful mix of traditional patchwork blocks, each with its own combination of colour, pattern and design. Bold shades of red, golden yellow and turquoise stand out against a rich navy-blue background, creating a lively and engaging quilt full of character.

A particularly lovely feature is the variety of picture fabrics scattered throughout the quilt, making it perfect for playing I Spy games. Children can spend hours searching for familiar animals, discovering hidden details and making up their own stories.

The all-over quilting features gentle, flowing swirls, adding beautiful texture while complementing the playful design. The contrasting navy-blue backing features colourful dragonflies, providing another lovely pattern to enjoy. Bright red binding completes the quilt.

Made using traditional patchwork techniques, the fabrics have been carefully selected, with each block individually cut and pieced on a domestic sewing machine. The quilt has been professionally machine quilted for durability, making it practical for everyday use while still being something special to keep.

Made from natural cotton fabrics and wadding, this generously sized children's throw is soft, comfortable and perfect for snuggling under, spreading out for playtime or taking along on family adventures.

This quilt was originally made by Karen as a demonstration quilt for Rainbow Patchwork. A lovely opportunity to own a unique, handmade quilt that encourages imagination, observation and play.
