A beautiful handmade patchwork quilt, bursting with colour, pattern and delightful details. Thoughtfully made to be used, loved and treasured.

Featuring a wonderfully cheerful collection of floral and whimsical prints, this striking quilt brings together vibrant shades of pink, turquoise, blue, lavender and sunny yellow. The fabrics are filled with beautiful flowers, leafy patterns, colourful birds and playful little creatures, with something new to discover every time you look.

The quilt features an intriguing assortment of traditional patchwork blocks, including stars, pinwheels, squares and intricate geometric designs. Each section has its own character, creating a lively sampler-style quilt with a lovely sense of movement and variety. Soft lavender and muted teal fabrics provide a gentle contrast to the brighter prints, bringing the whole design together.

The all-over quilting features flowing, swirling patterns, adding beautiful texture while complementing the colourful patchwork. The contrasting deep pink backing, scattered with charming little hearts and flowers, is equally delightful and gives the quilt a completely different look when turned over. A rich raspberry-coloured binding completes the quilt.

Made using traditional patchwork techniques, the fabrics have been carefully selected, with each block individually cut and pieced on a domestic sewing machine. The quilt has been professionally machine quilted for durability, making it practical for everyday use while still being something special to keep.

Made from natural cotton fabrics and wadding, this generously sized throw is soft, comfortable and perfect for snuggling under, draping over a sofa or adding a cheerful splash of colour to a bedroom or living space.

This quilt was originally made by Karen as a demonstration quilt for Rainbow Patchwork. A lovely opportunity to own a unique, handmade quilt.
