Easy and quick to make apron
A good way to use novelty kitchen prints.
Requirements
60cm of fabric for the apron (or 90cm is enough for 2 aprons).4.2 m of bias tape - 1" remade bias or make your own.
Instructions
Print out the pattern pieces - make sure the printer is set to 100%. Join the two pieces together.
Pattern Piece A - top of the apron
Pattern Piece B - bottom of the apron
Fold the fabric and cut out the apron piece. Sew bias strip to the sides and bottom of the apron- need about 65" (165cm) Sew bias strip to the top of the bib section of the apron - need about 10" (26cm)
Sew bias strip to the arms hole section of the apron - need 2 strips about 70" (180cm). Neaten off the ends by turning the raw edges inside and top stitching
Add a pocket - finished size 12" x 5 1/2". I cut a piece 13" x 13" - fold in half right sides together, sew a seam down both sides. Turn through. Trim the folded side with bias for a nice look. The raw edge will be the bottom of the pocket. Turn this edge under and topstitch onto the apron. Happy cooking!!
